FUNERALS
The Church has always walked alongside those, and all who love them, who pass from this life into death.
In doing so we proclaim that following in the life of Christ we are offered the sure and certain hope of resurrection, with the fulness of awareness of the beauty and presence of God.
A church funeral provides a framework for prayerful celebration of the life of those ‘we love but see no longer’, commending them to God’s keeping and proclaiming the hope of the fulness of the life of God’s Kingdom.
